Auburn, NY -- A Virginia woman was accused of trying to slip about $50 to an inmate at the Auburn Correctional Facility, state police said. Lorette E. Strong, 49 of Red House, Va., was charged with misdemeanor promoting prison contraband, troopers said. Strong was given a ticket to appear in Auburn city court March 19. Full story »
